PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Football is a sport which is very dear to my heart on two fronts. Firstly I have played the game at college level and it has always been a first love for me. Secondly the constituency I represent as an MLA for three terms now, comprises of Bengaluru city’s top football playing areas.
With some of the greatest players of the state and country hailing from my constituency and hundreds of current players and coaches also from here, my affinity to the game is huge.
Ever since I have been a patron and now a President of KSFA, I have been striving to recalibrate and harness the potential of the game in our state.
A strong administrative base with committed football lovers has been my first priority with the belief that a professional approach should be adopted in administering the game.
Our main focus from now on will be on grassroots football, promotion of the game in the districts, provide the impetus for women’s football and make Karnataka the top football state in the country.
Our focus is also on producing international class referees and coaches as these are vital to reach our desired goals.

Shri N.A. Haris
